Just bought the console and 12 months gold membership and was looking to start playing online.

What are the best online games?

Who plays what?

People seem to play the most recent games, but popular ones I play are;
Forza 2
Cod 3,4 and 5 (waw)
Tiger woods 09
fifa 09

I've always found that the most lag I had was from playing with people in America, I normally just play with people off my friends list most of the time.
 
GOW2, COD 4, Fifa 09, PGR4 & Forza are all on my online list!! Gamertag KINGOFPRESTWICH - get me added!! :D Also, I'd be up for a race team of Forza, though I'm thoroughly pants at it :( (JDHolic can vouch for that!!)
 
Ooooh yes please! :D I've been playing PGR for a while but never online, only just bought a gold membership :nuts:. I've just bought Forza 2 (I reckon it's better than PGR) and am thoroughly hooked so would love to play with some TP friends :thumbs:

If we all add the words "TP member" to our xbox bio's then

Any Call Of Duty Game (but COD4 is still the best although Nazi zombies on WAW is ace:))

PGR3/4 for arcade driving
Forza 2 for 'real' sim driving
GTA4 for wasting more time than you care to remember

I only really play one game at a time, and I play it to death.
It went like this:

Halo 2
Call of Duty 2
Burnout Revenge

Rainbow Six Vegas
Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
Gears of War
Halo 3 (briefly)
Battlefield Bad Company
Burnout Paradise
Forza Motorsport 2
Call of Duty World At War

Don't play much than the last one now.
I play all my other games, just not online.

If you're going to get one game to play online, make it COD4 or CODWAW.
