Yes
Like the majority of TPers (going by the sales forum), I'm looking at selling off my GF1 and X100, in my case to upgrade and rationalise ie get one camera.

The two in the thread title are my current choices and effectively would cost me about the same (I'd get the X100s refurbished with a code and I've got Panny 20mm and 14mm).

So, what do I do? At the mo, 95% of my photography is family oriented.

Also thought about the Ricoh GR - that would allow even more rationilzation - selling off my RX100 too! The real loss there would be the EVF, but frankly I hardly use them, finding the rear screen easier most of the time.

Or just carry on as I am - my current selection is great!

Grateful for any thoughts/insight!:)

My 2p.

Sell the GF1 no doubt.

If you are shooting lots of small fast moving children, and that is your main aim, then GF7. Even the X100S isn't great AF for moving subjects.

But then, if you are happy with the X100 experience, I'd be tempted to just stick with that. The improvements the S offers are not huge, and there is further firmware rumoured for the X100.

I agree, sell the GF1 and consider the Fuji X-E1, the "kit" lens is really very good indeed and as a package, can be bought from the likes of Digitalrev for £719! Bargain!! It's not the fastest of cameras to use, but with the latest firmware I find it very enjoyable, and much prefer using it to my old Nikon system.

As much as I love my X100 i'm debating whether I should sell it and just go for the new 23mm lens for my X-E1??

The rumoured firmware update for the X100 may change things again!;)

Don't have any input on the GX7 but I wouldn't discount the x100s as not much different. There are lots of things that make it a much more enjoyable camera than the original not just the AF speed. Unless they update the awful menu system on the x100 this time thats always going to be annoying!
