I just got off the phone from FujiFilm here in the UK.
They stated that anyone who is having a problem with orbs in their shots, should first update to the latest firmware which is 1.0.3. If you are still getting the problem after that, you need a new sensor.
Those that do require the replacement sensor should call them on 0844 553 2323. They will put you on a waiting list for the new sensor and when they get them in, they will send you a pre paid bag to send your camera off. They are getting the new sensors in around 4 weeks time.
The problem is highlighted when taking pictures of something like a car head light, instead of a star effect around the light you will get white orbs (when fully zoomed in).
Hopefully this info will help those (if any) that are still affected after the firmware update.
