After using different Canvas Suppliers in previous months, I thought I'd give Trade Canvas Print a go www.tradecanvasprint.co.uk

Great service!

Quality is fantastic, nice and neat corner folds and taping/hanging very nice

Turnaround and customer service was even more impressive!

I definitely recommend anyone who need a canvas printing to at least give these a go next time you have an order - you won't be disappointed!

Very competitive prices ensure I'll definitely be ordering from them again

As it happens I put an order for a canvas and print in yesterday. Let's see what happens :)

Well I'm glad to report that the canvas I ordered is stunning! The quality of workmanship is second to none. I have had canvases from about five different companies and this one exceeds all expectations, and all other canvases that I have had. A big well done and thumbs up to the guys as tradecanvasprint! I like it that much that I will be making another order tomorrow!!

It says on their website that they print at 1440dpi...

I just wondered...is there really a visible difference between say 300dpi and 1440dpi when printing onto canvas?
On paper, there would be a difference, but what about on canvas?

Daniel - you have come across the common misunderstanding

Your file is 300 dpi but its also known as ppi (pixels per inch) as each pixel can be any one of 16 million colours.... the printer dpi of 1440 dpi is dots - and each dot is either just there or not... it takes a number of dots to make up the pixel of 16 million colours so there is no real missmatch...

Does that include Oxford Images?

I haven't used Oxford images. I was going to put a trial canvas through them at the same time but a combination of not being able to register (website was playing up) and the equivalent size canvas being twice the price I decided not to.

Hi,how do you use this web site,it keeps taking me to a trade login page.

Tony

I can fully recommend them too. Amazing product. Wouldn't even think about using anyone else.

First class.

Put another order in today :) will posthumous of the quality when it arrives

Do they do prints aswell?........... Im interested in getting a new canvas supplier aswell

I've had 2 done from Snapmad, have you used them before Drew ?
i'm just intrigued if you think tradecanvas print are better and considering Snapmad are only around £20 for a 24'' x 16''

As you will see Trade Canvas are now the sponsor of this page.

Well i've had a few canvases done by these people for my customers and I really do have to say that the customer service has been faultless and I am getting positive feedback from my customers I just can't recommend them enough.

Used them as well, canvasses for the house they great for the price and are decent quality - but for my business clients and to sell in shops definitely use these guys!

I would be stunned if they compared.

I would be stunned if they compared.

I haven't had anything through them, but i would like to see some examples, of photos side by side. The standard of finish on the TCP canvases is outstanding.

I have just had a look on oxford site and the price difference is actually only £13.43 for a 24x16 canvas, not sure where i got double from!:thinking: Sorry.

I tend to order 2 or more canvases at the same time, and TCP charge a delivery fee of 7.95 per order (as many prints and canvases as you like) where are Oxford charge £5 per canvas.

I might order a couple of smaller canvases, with the same pictures on from both companies (can give one to my mum) and do a comparison.

Watch this space.

I should be getting a canvas order today or tomorrow, think I will give TCP a go after reading all the positive comments here, have been using *** up untill now.... business is business and cheaper is cheaper..

Hi all

I was just wondering, do you add your own price to the original canvas price for your customer?? Im now starting out and was wondering how it works!!

Many thanks

Carrie

Yes of course! Remember that with all prints and canvases, the customer is paying for the picture, your time editing, running costs and profit on the canvas, not just the canvas. I charge a hell of a lot more for the canvas than 30 odd quid!

pain in the backside that you can't see the prices without registering, or am I missing something obvious ??

No you have to register :( have found this the norm for most printing companies lately. Not sure why though?

Another very happy customer with TCP, I can vouch for the excellent product and turnaround times and Ben is always helpful.

Following a Christmas cock up from my previous supplier last year I tried TCP and having tested a number of companies out I find that the quality of product is top notch.

I would second that - I've used them a few times now and the customer service and quality is EXCELLENT!

Right there with you! Just recieved my first order from TCP, postage to N.Ireland just £7.95 for 3 canvas prints. Delighted with results and Ben was so helpful. Will def use again, would not even waste my time trying anywhere else now!

Just received my order today and I have to say that it is as good as I have seen anywhere especially for the value.

Will definitely use again.

Thanks all.....

Just to let you all know, due to order volume we are now running on a 1 to 2 day delay. No problem getting canvases out for Christmas, just not the usual 1 day turn round for the next few days.

Thanks

Ben

Does anyone know, If i was to order a canvas from trade canvas print and get it sent to my customer does the invoice go to them too or can that be sent to me??

Many thanks

You can ask for the invoice just for you, they are professionals and understand.

I took a great shot at a swimming gala and the girls mum asked if I could get it onto a canvas. Now I have never really liked putting my name and price onto a canvas because of futher comeback. I say have the image go to Fleebay groupon and your get one priced a lot less than one I can supply.

I would hate to supply a image that after a yr the ink starts to flake the corners start to turn or it stretches so much its got a wave affect. So what will the client do ? return it to you and expect a replacement or will they just think you sold them rubbish and tell others. NOT GOOD

I told her my reasons but she still wanted this image on canvas not small 100cm x 70cm I contacted trade canvas pruely because of the 10yr warrenty so i would expect that there build and quailty was very good. pricewise yes not as cheap as others mentioned but not over the top. they did offer a free test canvas but i was up against time so had to order.

I must say I was very very happy with the results and definately use them again. It was a slight bit brighter than my monitor if i was picky but if I had time for the free test print I would of slightly adjusted. The client was over the moooon I
