400 euros for the suit and £4K for the parachute and you're away. I'd want a red suit so at least they could find my remains. Avoid the cammo version. :D

That's very, very impressive.
Have to say though, I'm not at all sure about the ethics of attaching an orange distress flare to his suit. Why not use a colour that won't get rescuers running?

If you where to crash into a tree like they could have, surely an orange flare would be ideal...
 
Controlled falling. I would much rather do it in a glider.

Sorry but I tend to think of them as selfish a****es. I think much more highly of the rescue teams that have to go out and pick up their pieces when, and it is WHEN things go wrong.

All for a THRILL? Jeez, the "yoof" of today. A war not good enough any more? :naughty:
 
Absolutely breathtaking and amazing helmet cam shots.
Can't help feeling though that a slight misjudgement of angle near the cable cars would make a quick slice and dice through the wire.

Im sure there was a guy a couple of years back who misjudged this and hit a bridge whilst there were lots of spectators on it, its probably on youtube somewhere, fantastic stuff though, I did 19 Parachute jumps a few years back and would love to do more but with 5 children now it would scare sh-t out of me that something went wrong

Looks stunning, I'm petrified of heights so thats me out although my brother is currently in Spain on a parachuting/basejumping holiday...

Same here, together with trust, I love speed, would love to go in a jet fighter or drive fast cars, but the idea of throwing myself off something with only a bit of fabric or rope between me and death leaves me feeling rather ill. I managed 1 1/2 mins of that video :lol:

Plus god knows how many jumps experience!

Last i checked it was 500 freefalls before you could jump out with a board on your feet, would hate to think how many the suggest for this!

Daniel i think it was, hit a bridge at 120mph.

does look like fun but also need lots & lots of practice and very good judge of distance.
