Wow! Ebay auction for 4 cameras and more..

untested usually means definately broken...I would avoid them like the plaque, that canon looks like it has been kicked by a carthorse lol...blummin Ebay!

to be fair she does say spares or repair...as you say it should be a good one to watch, thanks for the link.

I am always worried when they say a "house clearance" does that mean a burglary?

Looks like a pile of junk to me.

Jonathan

I agree completely, for UNTESTED always read FAULTY !

I have sold items as UNTESTED before that really are untested but it is rare that something really is THAT difficult to test. I sold a memory upgrade for a compaq server as untested and it went for £15 although it was worth £500 only to be told by the buyer that it was perfect so these things happen but cameras are hardly a problem to check. Even minus a battery it would have been beneficial to get hold of a battery and sell as working!

Spares or repairs, sold as seen or non returnable simply do not have any credence on crooks inc .... sorry flea bay

:nono::nono::nono::nono::nono::nono::nono::nono:
Pete.

I came across this lot myself when I was buying the rest of ebay this week, even to my untrained eye they look like scrap.

I had noticed it myself, but it does look bad and lenses are all old

You pays your money, you takes your chances...

I like one of the messages at the bottom, offering £70 for the lot, quick sale...!

That 1D looks battered!

That Canon 1D would have cost 3K + new, if it was a house clearance where are the lenses that go with it, none of those lenses go with that camera

looks Dodgy to me, I had my 350 stolen in a House robbery!! and ovously the person sold it for pence because they have no idea how much they are worth... lol
Makes me sick, Why would someone have that many cameras and lenses in a "House Clearence" Bit Funny to me if i may say so.

Its a 1D classic. I picked mine up for £430. Not worth much more than a 400D.

I wouldn't touch any of that lot just looking at the condition. It's a bit odd that while the seller is professing to know nothing about photography, the pictures are actually loads better than some of the shots you see advertising gear on ebay?

now it's not, when it was new it would have been state of the art at £3000, i'm just pointing out if it was a house clearane where is at least one lens that's in keeping with a £3,000 body

Could be someone died and the people clearing out the house just junk stuff they didn't understand ?

Could be a number of reasons but you will never know unless you spend
your money & get the gear in your hands.

Definitely one to watch, some plonka will think they are getting a bargain:lol:

This isn't from one house clearance - it's from several, by a 'house clearance' company.

Just idle speculation - there is no way my money is going here !

They look aweful, would never buy or use a camera in that state.

17 minutes to go and theyre only £201.

I'm an amateur, but to me the lenses seem to be worth that much.

Dion!

Someone will buy and probably put the items back on ebay one by one and make a few quid.

£322 for a bunch of tat :bonk:

I bet he's glad he didn't accept the £70 for all offer.
