It's complete Billy BS having looked at it again - I only scanned the thread last night.
Apart from what has been posted on the other site already, the following also weighs against him:
The knife scar is too regular and too well healed for 3 days post trauma with no sign of stitching.
There is no deviation where the blade hits the clavicle.
The guy is up and walking 3 days after a major GSW.
But forgetting what looks like a crayoned knife scar the GSW injury is the biggest give away.
A shot passing through the body in that location would either take out the liver, kidney or at the very least part of the colon, none of which are 'get up and walk away afterwards' incidents. The surgeon's entry point wouldn't be keyhole as the tract of the wound would need to be fully investigated and debrided. A mate of mine had an Afghan 7.62 through his outer thigh and was opened up from pelvis to knee.
However the biggest give away is the bloke's own vanity - he's forgotten to shave off his body hair!!
As a rough diagnosis, and given his previous posts on that forum, I'd say that this bloke was either a serial Walter Mitty, or more seriously suffering from Münchausen syndrome.
