...If you'd lost your spanking new (well to me!) Lee filter adapter, on it's first outing, having not actually managed to even get it on the camera? Because I just might! :(

Actually I think this should probably be in Out of Focus...sorry mods!

No, I'd man up and buy another. Probably go home and kick the dog tho (or the wife, same thing really):)

I'd give myself a big slap on the back of the head. ;)

I'd just be thankful it wasn't something more valuable like a camera or lens!

Ah see a photographer friend who is also a member here but I shall not name lost his new expensive ten stopper to a gust of wind over the edge of a cliff, on his first outing with it :bang: he did swear just a little from what I remember on Facebook...

I have a bad habit of loosing Cokin filter rings :( honestly I think I've purchased at least 3 x 67mm rings from my local LCE

.... depends on how you managed to "lose" it, I guess.

A bit annoying, but not the end of the world, so try to be brave and wipe your eyes .... !!

I would probably just swear. Long, loud and inventively, probably using combinations of words previously not used. Crying's for gurls.

Thankfully after wasting much of the night searching everywhere I'd been stood on location, the car and the house it turned up this morning...in the car under the seat where I'd already searched a thousand times! Relieved isn't the word, would have been a long wait for funds for a replacement! (How can such a pathetic bit of plastic cost so much in the first place!?)

You obviously haven't met some of the gurls I've known ...
I'd swear and jump up and down swearing some more lol
That's ok - you're only 5.

Glad I'm not the only demented person in the universe! Your account of this actually cheered me up. Though obviously, I'm sorry about the suffering.

Glad you found it  reminds me of myself a few years back I misplaced my phone, searched high and low for it, checked with places I'd visited, no joy, so in the end I reported it lost and went to my local network shop to buy a replacement and get a new sim programmed with my old number...several months later looking for something that had fallen down the side of then passenger seat of my car sat there was my mobile :bang:

I once found a pencil behind my ear.

If you washed behind there more often it would have surfaced sooner!!!

I once thought my lee holder had broken a few days into a 3 week trip in the USA. I was pretty annoyed! Luckily the parts (the little spring and brass bits) had all fallen into my camera bag, so I just had to look at my husbands and put it back together. The relief was enormous. I now have a spare holder which will go on any important trips as a back-up.
