I am not sure what significance it even has, apart from being easier to notice and remember :) I have seen some interesting ones, but I am not sure I'd part with a serious amount of cash for one. You could donate to charity as last resort; DVLA is not one the last time I looked. :lol:
 
That'll be because it was bought by a Ferrari dealer and he probably has one of the Ferrari 250s in his collection or customer's collection

When you've got that amount of money £500k will be seen as a relatively small sum and an investment at that.
 
I know someone who has 2500, it's on a Ferrari, but not a 250
 
Mrs Nod has a relevant plate on her car but it came with the car rather than being bought separately. She'll probably keep the plate when the car goes though!

Have seen both NOD 1 and 1 NOD (OD is a local suffix.) Could be tempted by my initials followed by 63NOD if it was cheap and I had a car new enough to put it on!
