No, which Is why I've posted a lens down to Matty to sell on ebay for me, as he has good feedback :D

bah, it's not worth the risk. :D

I thought this was a nice touch:

If you have any additional questions about the lens, feel free to email me and I will be glad to answer them.

INSTEAD PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY AT *****@***.com INSTEAD OF USING "ASK THE SELLER A QUESTION" AS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE!!

How about this one?

I guess I would only do it if the seller is willing to allow me to pick it up. Then I'll be going round with a few people in separate cars just to make sure.

I've sent a message to the seller and Ebay. Hope it gets sorted before anyone falls for it. Certainly looks tempting though!

All the odd items have been removed from the rowdytown page now.

Damn, bargains too :(

I'd buy from someone with zero feedback if I could pick up or it was low value.

Following my recent not too good experience with ebay and paypal, heed this warning.

If you win the (an) auction and then pay via paypal, but using a credit card rather than a debit card or bank account, there could be problems. This particularly if, as in the case of a couple of these auctions, the seller is new to ebay. The reason is that once you have paid, the seller will get an email from paypal saying that the money is waiting for him, but as you paid by credit card he will have to upgrade his account to a business account and pay 3.4% + £0.20 for the transaction (robbin b******s). Of course at this the seller will baulk and start asking you for a cheque or cash and it all gets a bit gritty :( :(

At which point you say, naff off and send me my goods wot I paid for homeboi ! :)

I take paypal but I stipulate I don't take credit or debit card funded payments.

Two reasons.

One : To do so I would have to upgrade my account from personal to premier. Premier accounts incur fees on EVERY receiving transaction. Personal accounts don't.

Two : A Card funded payment is more likely to be a source of fraud, and thus more likely to be involved in a chargeback.

That said, it doesnt stop people missing the glaringly obvious "I DONT TAKE CARD FUNDED PAYPAL PAYMENTS" and trying to pay me, me having to refuse the payment and either ask for payment by my other accepted means, or card funded to my second paypal account (money gets whisked out of it as soon as its in)
