Would that lens from the body in the middle fit my misses 1000D with an adapter because I'm pretty sure it doen't fit normally... Also how much is that lens and body worth now days?
I think that it's a older series canon film camera - looks like a A-1 or F-1 with motordrive, so the lens will be a FD fit, which can be used with EOS EF mount cameras using an adaptor such as this one...
(i've one of the above to use a range of FD lenses on my EOS450D and EOS-3 film camera - there are cheaper ones, but the image quality will be conpromised - there are also glassless macro adaptors that don't affect the image quality, but won't allow the camera to focus to infinity - not much cop for a long telephoto lens!)
Ok so that is the lens and the body is canon F-1 with what looks like a battery grip. How much would this go for roughly on ebay? Are they still popular with collectors?
The glass will degrade the corners and act as a mild teleconverter. I know a guy who can get FD lenses converted, but it might cost a bit. But then again, this lens in EF mount will cost a LOT anyway!!

Extremely popular - they go for anything up to £ 500 on fleabay, depending on condition and amount of hammer they've had (they're generally pro-quality cameras and many have had a hard life) The "battery grip" is actually a power winder - large battery with a power winder to move the film along at something like 6 frames per second.
