Was joking :naughty:

But surely if brought in bulk they would do you a deal wouldn't they - Spose it all depends on what orders you'll get in thou as well...

thats why there is a poll.

I don't arf say some stupid things don't I.....

 Mmmmm I've always wondered why they called me Trig :$

When would these become available if there is a need for them & will there be any other gear coming up on the horizon then Matty

When are the straps coming back in?

:plusone:

I'd be happy to supply a good quantity of Jaffa Cakes and tea; may be some sunshine too

As I mentioned earlier don't want a lens cloth, but would like a TP Beanbag, mine is a bit tatty and could do with replacing
(sat my fat arse on it a few too many times I reckon)

spudz are expensive and require a fair few to do 'logod'

Extra cloths are always useful, plus if it supports the BBS then it has to be a good thing :)

I don't really care too much about what brand/trademark is in a cleaning cloth. On a strap however, well you may be able to come across a fellow TP member and make new contacts/friends. So my view is, concentrate on a STRAP

+1 for me please, I seem to lose them on a regular basis.

Re spudz, I had one, got annoyed with it. Yes its all very nice in the little bag and stuff but mine kept falling out. So I clipped it to the zip on one of the inside pouches of my camera bag, and it gets stuck in the main zip when I do the bag up. So I prefer a normal lenscloth, folded into one of the pockets.

Yes of course! Also really liked the 18% grey idea :)

here you go

Voted yes, definitely like the idea of the spudz style

I'll have one, possibly two all dependent on the cost

would prefer a spudz one, I know it is more expensive but what we talking?????? have you been able to get any prices and quantities required or is it a total no no

i have some quantities required, and on that basis its not looking good. also, the cost isnt cheap. the company that make them are obviously in no rush to sell any more as they havent replied to the request I sent them...so at this point its not looking too good.

What sort of quantities, minimum, do you need to order? I may well take a good few.

150 minimum

Can I aska question pre-voting?

Is there any advantage to a lens cloth over a standard cotton cloth?

The lens cloths are lint free and dont leave any fluff residue/bits. Absorbent in a way that means they dont leave so many smears too if used on a wet lens.

150 minimum

At £3.5; I'd take 20 please .. doing a bit of TP under-table marketing in this part of the world :p

With over 80 "Yes" votes, this means we're only 50 short of the minimum required. I am sure from the over 20,000 members there ought to be at least another 50 who will buy.

On the marketing subject, how about you force anyone with over 4,000 post-counts to buy three? It's mandatory to retain that sort of status :p. Anyone with over 10,000 post-count has to buy 10  .. I'm known to be good at pushing things up people's face

Oy :bat:

:whistling: I'll buy another (making that 2) if I can have something different than "feet under the table" :naughty:

they wont be 3.50 each, not a chance.. the spudz people havent replied, so its not looking too good at all.

 Is that for the normal/original cloth or for the spudz that your on about

I find them spudz ones annoying that apparently handy little keyring thing seems to have a life of its own when im cleaning and likes to make contact with my expensive glass

Dave:thumbs:

Matty,

There are lots of things that could be TP branded that people might be interested in and that work out reasonably priced when you buy a few, such items as pens, mugs, teddys, straps and cloths. Some patches maybe 1"x4" would be really good too.

I've said yes - on the provision that the £3.50 isn't miles out and they'll be £20 each. Unless they're gold plated. Or come with a free lens.

:D

Shame really. I'll still be interested in a few, but how many will depend on how much they'll ultimately cost.

I'd love to see the straps redone; these sold like hot cakes and I can do with a few more.
