Worth a grand....I don't think so!!!

Why is it a lie? just because you can buy it cheaper doesn't mean their price is a lie.

Marketing tool maybe but again that does not make it a lie

The worth on all these sorts of contests will be based on the RRP as quoted by the manufacturer - the fact that a lot of retailers go cheaper than the RRP is not really relevant (they've got to bench marks somewhere - if thy took the wex price you'd get someone saying "worth 700 quid i don't think so I got mine for 500 quid from xyz grey importer" , "yeah well i got mine for 400 in cash converters " yeah well i got mine for 50 quid and some dodgy videos off this bloke in the pub" "yeah well i got mine free out of the back of this bloke's car " - crap its worthless... better get a different prize

Not worth getting upset about it.

i bet these evil doer's have an all inclusive "give up your rights" clause as well! damn that free lens chance that i could buy it for cheaper than they claim elsewhere!

Thanks OP wouldn't have known about this competiton if its wasn't for this very strange thread.

What's going on? :p

I need to spam 25 post just to see classifieds -.-'

lol at the end of the day if they win they get a free lens where is the harm in that?

Nowt wrong with that, the RRP is £1,000.00.

As above. I don't have a real problem with the licensing agreements - which some competitions impose and people complain about as a "rights grab" - either. The terms and conditions are stated, so it's entirely up to you whether you enter or not.

There is also a 60 day membership requirement.
Those that spam their way there, never seem to "quite make it" TBH ;)
