Worst ever film award

Hmmmm either I'm weird or you are in that case :D
I know what you mean. It was slow and if i wasn't in the right mood i wouldn't have liked it either. It grow on me while i watched it. I was also pre-warned it wasn't a mainstream film so knew what to expect before sitting down to watch it.

I'd not heard of it before I watched it, it just seemed like a good idea at the time :D

bronson....oh deary deary me total crap...id do time if i was made to watch that again

Lost in translation, only managed to cope with for 20 minutes before I had to eject the DVD. If it hadn't been a rental I would have put it in the microwave...

Worst film I've ever watched is by far and a way.... Iron Sky. What a total pile of wossnames
Same here!
I really hoped this would have been a fun b movie to watch. The idea was great, but it was just awful in every respect.

However I think Meet the Spartans beats even that. The only film I have not watched all the way through. It was embarrassing, disgusting and not even remotely funny.

Oh know another one i like. It's becoming clear, i'm the weirdo!

Early Kodakolor Gold 400ASA... Of course, the crappy plastic camera I was using back then didn't do it any favours but still!

One of my favourite films of all time and a major tour de force for the director. Of course it helps that the two leading roles were taken by actors whose work I enjoy

I didn't enjoy Lost in Translation when I watched it. Was discussing movies with my mate the other night and he recommended re-watching it so I might give it another go. At the very worst I get to look at Scarlett Johansson for another hour and half or so!

Can't believe The Hurt Locker has been mentioned in this thread, though it was a great film.

Blues Brothers 2000 deserves an honourable mention, although I would prefer to see it getting a dishonourable microwaving! We only have it because the single film was more expensive than the double set!

I enjoyed that one.

I also bought the double set for the same reason and yes, the sequel was awful.

Watched Jupiter Ascending last night... that was fairly dire too

Probably the worst film I've ever watched is Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam, also known as Turkish Star Wars. The version we watched didn't have subtitles or dubbing and was completely incomprehensible but still fascinating.

The whole film is available on youtube, should you feel the need :)

my girlfriends 12 year old daughter trawls through all the american teen "dramas" on netflix, These are so utterly dire that i cant actually remember any titles as my brain shuts down a couple of minutes after the titles. The sort of main plot line revolves around precious little little miss perfect school girls who somehow own $50,000 cars chipping a fingernail. Really, you lot are complaining about nothing

At least in my day (80's) we had John Hughes and classics such as the breakfast club, st elmo's fire, pretty in pink etc

Not forgetting:
Beuller....Beuller....Beuller......

I was always on the side of Cameron, couldnt stand Ferris and just wanted to slap his smug grin off his face

Yeah i saw that a few months ago it was indeed complete pap

Yeah but it is 30 years old, I doubt that it or Kelly would be appealing now :D

Well, she's a lady in her mid 50s now but still an attractive one. Time stands still for no one!

No doubt I'll get shot down in flames as it appears to be a 'cult' film, but I've just watched 'Withnail & I' and thought it was a lot of old cobblers.
