Wornish's 52 in 25. completed. Week 52 added: New

Two good shots David, I'm leaning more towards the second shot though.

Good one Dave, I like the processing

Very nice - cracking B&W.

Nice. Mono is great choice. Lovely sky too.

Splendid image. Suits the processing very well. Maybe another of just the tree and a wide expanse of sky, weather permitting of course?

You've definitely chosen the right one David, I like the rim lighting and it looks far more realistic.

That second shot is really interesting - I think I lean towards it a bit more than the first. Nothing wrong with the classic silhouette in the first but the second had me intrigued about where the light was coming from. Is your (?) for standing on snow or something very pale?

I thought the first one was a real dog, obvious the second one is not.

Both shots were of a small bronze model of a retriever. They were llt with a torch and a blue cloth placed just behind the subject. The shot was taken on my kitchen worktop.
So, no special lighting.

Silhouette shot has worked well, definitely picked the right shot

I think the first one sells the pic of it being a ‘real’ dog more.

Certainly on my phone it never occurred to me that it was a statue.

Not that it matters either way TBH.

Great silhouette - I didn't realise it wasn't a real dog until the uncropped version either, so I'll still count it as a cute dog pic :ROFLMAO:

On first look I thought the glossy black was a stove door. I love the low key but also seeming bright image.

Week 8: Street Signs and Symbols

All work and no play.

Nice one David. I suppose the kids could play at pretending to work...

Like it. Good photo.

Great picture,

when we were kids we would have climbed over the fence and played on everything and it would have all been covered in mud.

Of course H&S now prevents playing and climbing. :)
