I know there is a lot of rivalry between football teams but this is bloody stupid.

Doesn't surprise me though. Saddens me, yes...but surprise me? No.

Take a substandard level of morality we have in society today, mix in with a noncholant attitude of a general youth population that doesn't give two ****s about other people. Add a fair dollop of the mentality and level of hatred of some football supporters and that's what you get.

There's no gentlemanly conduct in football support anymore. Not much anyway (in my experience of course). Not saying there aren't genuine fans who thoroughly respect the opposition when their team gets beaten. Just look at a list of facebook status updates on match days. Never do you see congratulations to an opposing team, it's all insults and pettiness.
 
I've heard many of Liverpool fans make references to the Munich Air Disaster, and it sickens me enough, yet they go, "Oh you lot mock Hillsborough". Just put all United fans in one group and they all have the same ideals.

I was gonna say the exact same thing but you two beat me to it.
Football on the whole just bores me rigid and only serves to bring out the worst in human nature.

:thinking: Why bring up the Munich disaster, don't seem to remember anybody putting it on a football shirt. This wasn't about a Man U fan as such just a sick individual who thinks its fun to mock 96 deaths on facebook.
BTW I've heard many different supporters mock the Munich disaster, its not funny and its not clever.

That was in the article, and I'm just saying, as it's on a Liverpool site, it doesn't make them clean at all from all of the insults. In fact in my case I've seen a few mock the Munich Air Disaster.
