The best photo of graffiti I have ever seen was in a newspaper in 1988/1989, just when there was all the tension about the collapse of the Soviet Union. I've never managed to find a copy of the picture though. So if anyone knows where to find it.....
It was allegedly taken on the other side of the Berlin wall before it fell. Somebody returning from the east through one of the checkpoints had taken a photo of the eastern side of the wall, where someone had spray painted in large letters:
"Don't worry, Baldrick has a cunning plan"
Anyone scaling the wall back in those days probably risked being shot. But it must have been worth it. The plan worked! A couple of months later loads of East Germans scaled the wall and came over to the west and the rest is history.

Steady on, I'm 18 and I remember asteroids! There was a button you could press to cheat and move to the next level.....ahhh those were the days!
