Workflow
I`ve looked at some of the previous posts and i`m going to try some of the techiniques there but also wanted to share and ask here aswell.
I do sport photos for a local paper who has taken on a new editor and is trying to bring the paper up to a better standard and modern era.
So a couple of things really,
I currently shoot between 200-400 pics per football game and then go home to edit on my computer at home, using adobe bridge and photoshop cs5.
While this works fine for me i would possibly like to speed up and simplify the process if that is possible.
I will be trying XNview and Photomechanic out (got these suggestions out of other peoples posts) but do any of these programs allow me to `tick`a photo while i am browsing through them so i can import/edit them after i`ve looked through them, for example i`m looking through 300 photos and as i`m going through them i can put a marker on some images that i think will be good enough, at the end i say import marker images, and those will then come to edit.
So old method of editing: Adobe Bridge & Photoshop CS5
New methods? XN view or Photomechanic and then either Lightroom or Elements for the edits??

I am trying to get the paper to use images online more straight after the game as its something they haven`t normally done.
For now i`m going to try a complicated way of editing the photos on the laptop and copy the photos wirelessly to my iphone then use the mail app to send the images by email, i cant use tethering as operator wont allow but i have enough data to allow, in the future i hope the paper will allow me a use of one of their dongles to send without the use of the iphone.
Have any of you tried sending images out using an iphone etc??
