Just a quick message to say if you are in Newcastle, then please feel free to pop in to the Biscuit Factory as some of my work is currently on display. If it is successful and sells, then I should be given an even bigger space upstairs in the gallery. Pretty proud with getting my work in there as it as a great gallery.

I'd hang all of those on my wall! I'm a long, long way from Newcastle but I'm sure they'll sell.

Not going to be in Newcastle, but beautiful images!

Excellent images, well done.

Some really lovely images there, love the post shot.
Must be very proud!

congrats, 1, 3 + 7 are very nice - others not so imo

How long is it on display for? ill be heading up to Shields and Newcastle the weekend of the 20th

Thanks guys. :)

Congrats!

Is it the biscuit factory in Byker? Or am I thinking of somewhere else?

Near Byker. More on the edge of Shieldfield at the town end of the Byker bridge. :)

It is likely to be up for a few weeks, then come down for the spring exhibition to go up, then go back up again a few weeks later. So it should be on and off for a few months hopefully. :)

Popped in today to drop off another print, to be told that 3 have sold already, which is encouraging. If I can keep that up, it increases the chance of me being offered a bigger space upstairs where I can start producing bigger, more expensive prints. :)

i might take a pop down... ive been getting messages on twitter asking if my stuff is in the biscuit factory... how did you manage to get your work in there?

Good work on getting prints into the BF - I might well take a look at the weekend!

I'd echo Andy above in asking how you got your work in there in the first place?

These are great shots, each and every one of them. My favourite would be #1 and #7, but they're all great

If you don't mind me asking, was there any post processing done on any of these. I'm particularly interested in your work on #1, it's just superb.

Thank you for sharing.

good luck - hope it works out

Cheers. :)

Contact them via email with examples of my work. Then wait at least 12 weeks for them to assess the work. Then get invited to show some printed work in for the curators to have a look at.... profit. :)

Some have had more processing than others, but number 1 hasn't had a great deal at all. Bit of contrast boost and a few local edits are all. The one with the boat has probably had the most editing as the inside of the boat was quite underexposed, so needed dodging a fair bit.

ps. If you ever get your gallery up and running, give me a shout. ;)

Excellent shots, I'll definitely take the trip along!

:)

Thank you for the clarification.

My gallery, I'm struggling big time on this. How on God's Earth do people find the time to sort their pictures, choose the ones to upload and organise such a daunting thing. It's proving to be a lot harder than I anticipated; but it's coming along, slooooowly!

Superb stuff, if not too surprising.

Onwards and upwards.
