Environment! I can never spell this bloody word correctly. No matter how many times I type the word it ends up with a squiggly red line underneath it. I'm dyslexic with it. It drives me nuts. Anyone else have words they just can't spell no matter what? or is it just me? (And yes, I did have to look up the correct spelling for it before i posted) :cuckoo:

The one that use to get me is 'Independent'.
I blame the music industry because I like 'indie' music and use to end up spelling it' Indiependent'.
It took a while for my little grey cells to get over that one :lol:

I bet there is going to be a plethora of posts saying 'lens' :D

Hemorrhoids. Bum grapes. Piles. Fortunately, not a word that I need to type very often nowadays. Having run a spellchecker, I see that I can't spell nowadays either, missing out the a. Fairly certain there are others that I always get wrong - usually putting double letters where there should only be a single or t'other way round!

Definetaly.... ...see...I know its definitely, but I always get it wrong.

acsess.. get that wrong every time. two c's two s's.. must remember.

I can spell environment though. Its part of my companies name.
 
silouhette isn't the only word problem for me!!
I was an Environmental Health Officer so thats easy peasy!! (sp.)

Definitely is another. I got it right this time from copying you. Mind you it looks wrong. You sure you got it right? :nuts:

Another one for me is Pele's real name. Edson Arantes Do Nascimento Pelé. Simple really but always put an U in Edsun.
 
Arieal . . . arieal . . . aerieal . . . oh I give up. Just use the word "antenna".

That word catches me out every time.
 
Anything with double letters in for some reason adress, necessary, reccomendation.

I can spell miscellaneous, rhododendron and diarrhoea etc til the cows come home but not those double letters.

There are also words that I *always* type wrong and it gets right on my t1ts. Databse, form instead of from and loads of others. And lately I ve started hitting the space bar one letter too early so all my word sar espli twrong, gah!

Also why does nearly everyone on t'internet spell lose as loose and have as of?
 
i just can't spell... i am terrible (awaits the 2 to tell you all how bad i am)

Yeah but it probably applies to words I can't spell :lol: and it's to, too is for things like too long, too short, too tired and I'm (me not you) too stupid to tell you why it's different :nuts:
 
I always spell wronglly rongly.

(And it never shows as a single word on forums either. For some reason the software always puts a break in the middle)
Lucky I don't actually live there I suppose.

Seriously though, I always struggle with relevant / relevent for some reason :shrug:

This is a dangerous thread. It's like a brain worm! Having read the misspellings, I now can't spell any of those words correctly!
 
I like to think I'm reasonably good at spelling, but the word "manoeuvre" is always a nightmare for some reason!
 
I can't spell separate, I never know if it's that or seperate, and however many times I look it up, I always forget again.

The worst thing though is typos. I consistently spell photography wrong, it's always photogrpahy. Which great when you run a studio, lol.

The i before e thing was on QI recently, as there are more words outside of the rule than within it.
