Words & pics from England v Fiji last weekend

A quality read as usual.

Are you going by your motorbike to matches?

A superb read Andy and some great shots, as usual.

Thanks all - Australia today, that should be a tough game.

Are you going by your motorbike to matches?

Yep - I park just outside the media bag check entrance and get out & away nice & fast as well .

Watching the game now - if you're at the end England should be scoring to good luck..

A good photo on BBC News Sports on their scrolling pics of Tuilagi scoring - yours maybe?

And by the way that Aussie try in the first half was so far forward.

Common misconception of the laws.

A throw forward occurs when a player throws or passes the ball forward. ‘Forward’ means towards the opposing team’s dead ball line.

..and here's one of the videos explaining it

In short, it left his hands NOT heading toward the opposition line so despite the fact it went forward in flight was not a forward pass :)

To keep it back on topic, interesting write up of how the professionals do it and what goes on behind the scenes. Specific briefs on what to get and so on as opposed to just "taking pictures".

I'd be interested to read a more details workflow from getting the photos off the camera to the post processing if any and submitting them just to see how that bit works.

I have some nice work trousers that you can put knee pads into - cheap too from Screwfix. Didn't wear them last weekend though.
