I've had my own site for a while, but I've done nothing to it.

I'd like a wordpress template that I could easily use for adding albums.

Really not happy at my inability to get to gripss with this and I'm struggling here.

Have a look at Photocrati, easy to setup and use and helpful support.
 
So have you already got Wordpress installed? You can find loads of templates from within the programme itself.
 
Thanks Gramps, at the moment I'd prefer to use a free theme 'til I got the hang of things and found exactly what I wanted. I know that might limit things a little, but I did use t dabble doing web stuff, but that was many years ago.
 
My photography isn't good enough for that Mark. So not at this time.
 
It will depend on what you mean by 'albums' - you can add click thumbnail albums either as pages or blog posts from within the standard installation.

Themes, just go to themes in the dashboard and select add new, there are loads you can browse and install immediately.

I did this before and it wasn't as straight forward as I'd have liked. I had to twiddle and mess about for ages. Things like trying to make a link to "Home" I had to disable one and create another.

I'm having another crack now...
 
Good grief, this is horrific!

I need to try and get my learning head on.

Wordpress is not the enjoyable web building tool I was hoping it would be.

I know exactly what you mean. I've had a WP site for about a year now and still can't get it to look or behave the way I want it to even with a paid for theme :bang:

I'm so fed up with it I've been looking at having a web site written from scratch.
