Hi All,

After a lot of problems with Zenfolio adding code to one of my pages which has stopped it working properly (and denying there's a problem their end despite me showing them screen grabs of the rogue code) i'm now looking to go wordpress and a different gallery / shopping cart option.

Can anybody advise on a straight forward and cost effective option?

Cheers in advance.

Check out a plug-in called "Sell Media" - I think it's from GraphPaperPress. Not sure if it only works with one of their themes but as I use it with Photoshelter, I've not really had a problem.

Would you be happy with a paypal only cart?

I've been playing with a plugin recently for Wordpress which lets you create cart buttons and view basket as well as checkout to paypal. Its really basic in that there is no inventory or stock control or anything like that but it does seem easy to use if you're happy with only having paypal as a payment method.

This is the one I'm currently looking at : http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-simple-paypal-shopping-cart/

There is a video there to show usage.

I use that one too and it is simple but its effective. works and straight forward.

Been using "wordpress-simple-paypal-shopping-cart" for selling vouchers on one site and it's a great/simple/free approach to it.
Just bear in mind that on returning from PayPal, people may see a warning in their browser if you are directing them back to a non-https page. I think this is because PayPal passes back some transaction info via POST.
Not sure whether it's possible to disable that behaviour - lack of time to research it that far.

Does Photocart handle cropping / sizing of images? That was one nice thing about using Zenfolio. Oh, and the pre-approval feature.
