I have an existing Photium based website at www.blackbullphotography.com[/b]

I also own the .co.uk of the same URL

Until this morning the .co.uk was forwarded to the .com site

I have turned off the web forwarding this afternoon

I want to create a new website so at the weekend I bought some hosting space and installed Wordpress on it.

The Wordpress was installed against the www.blackbullphotography.co.uk domain

Following installation I was sent a confirmation e-mail saying the installation was successful and my admin link is http://blackbullphotography.co.uk/wp-admin/

However, when I click this link I don’t get directed to the Wordpress login page like I should be.

Anyone any ideas what I might need to do to sort this out?

Could be a number of things including time for the DNS to resolve on the Internet but did you setup the nameservers for the new domain?

Login to your 123-reg Control Panel and select 'Manage' for your domain.
Scroll down to 'Change Nameservers (DNS)'.
Where is asks 'Enter new nameserver information:' enter the nameservers one to a line - your hosting service should tell you what the nameservers are, they will be in the format ns1.xxxxxx.xxx ns2.xxxxxx.xxx

Thanks for your help. I think I have found the right info and updated the nameservers but just to be sure I have started the process of transfering over the domain name to QIQ so the domain and the hosting are in the same place.

Looks like it could take up to 24 hours for the changes to take place so I guess I'll have to sit back and wait.

Very frustrating this website malarky.

Just be aware that if you have transferred your domain to a different server it will require the nameservers to be updated again to those of the new server - all this could further delay the domain resolving through the system.
