Wordpress Blog help needed

This is probably a really simple problem that has been doing my head in for some time.
I use wordpress for my blog, which works fine, however when i insert an image into my blog I then cant get the cursor to drop to below the picture so I can carry on writing:bang: I have tried all things I know to get the cursor to leave the picture, wherever I click to carry on typing the cursor just goes back to the bottom left hand corner of the image.
Any help gratefully recieved!

I have the same problem, and the only way I can get it to work is to change the post view to HTML, (top right corner of text box) then move the cursor below the image source code and type away. Then if you want to check it turn it back to visual.

Yeah I have the same issue. I end up pressing the down arrow and few times and hitting return until I some how get a cursor under the photo. It isn't pretty and is annoying......yet some how I have never researched a real work-round

Yup same here, havent used it for a while but i think I switched to HTML and but in a br tag?

Im glad it is not just me then, it really does wind me up:bang: I will try the html & the down arrow with enter & see what happens.
I have no idea how I get it to work just seem to fiddle & lose my cool & then it somehow drops below the image.

An alternative workaround is to hit return a few times before you insert the photo then move the cursor up using the arrow keys to the point you want to inset the photo, then you should be able to move back to the lines below.
