I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this discussion, but i'm after some advice on this, I know its not really photography bases but i'm looking to use some of my images to create something like this

I'm not sure what you are after, but that image was probably produced in a drawing program such as the free "inkscape".
You could paste your images into inkscape and freely push them around until you get what you art after. Including any text and background colour.
