I found at yesterday, that after 7 years (nearly) in the Army I'm being promoted to lance corporal...which I won't actually get until next December, at my 8 year point :lol: long story short, I'm pegged for the rank, but they have to wait for a vacancy :bang: The point is though that I've finally been recognised for working my balls off at a job I sometimes hate :lol:

The best thing is that 2 of my closest friends also picked up, one to LCpl like me, and one to Sergeant...so big celebration tonight!

Thanks everyone. Off round my friend's house now for a celebratory dinner, then off to the pub to meet some other guys...then get so blind drunk I forget why we're celebrating!

Well mission acomplished...I feel like total death today, even with the extra hour in bed :lol:

Never a good plan when you're half-cut on red vino before you even leave your friend's house :bang: Followed by shooters...lots of them...in the pub :lol:
