WooHoo Got My New Canon 7D Today

Just got mine today as well. My 500D look a bit sad, hope I find a good home for it!:'(

enjoy it, it is a beaut and if you are like me, your 7d will be the camera that makes you want a 5d mark 2, so get saving for this time next year

I haven't put my 50D down since I unwrapped it on Xmas day!
Have fun with it, will look forward to seeing the first batch of shots from it.
 
Just got mine as well, be nice to have 5 minutes so I can have a play!! Why is it Christmas is so busy.....you wait all year for something nice, you get it...then can`t use/play with it:bang:

Congrats Dave on your new toy :thumbs: Now at rough estimation the 7D was about £13000 give or take a couple of sobs back in 2009. So did you reduce your savings as the price dropped or do you have a few quid left over :lol:
 
Are you havng fun yet? I am still trying to figure out the AF, the manual is so rubbish it might as well be written in Greek! :)

Well done Dave. :thumbs: I will be interested to see how you get on with the Sigma 105. Out of interest, why did you go for the Sigma rather than any other make of macro lens?

Congrats Dave on your new arrival.... Also interested to know why you chose the siggie 105mm, as I currently weighing this against the Tokina 100mm Macro.
 
Congrats to all new 7D owners. I changed up from a 50D just before Christmas.

Anyone else finding it quite a learning curve to really get the best out of it?

The reason I picked the sigma 105mm macro is because Ive been using one on and off for a year or so, also I know its a fantastically sharp lens :thumbs:

Another new 7D owner here having sold my 400D to get it, lovely bit of kit I must say :thumbs:
 
Congrats! I upgraded from a 400D a few months back and wow!!!!

Check this clicky out if you haven't already. It is a nice intro to some of the features.

I'm really looking forward to using the 7D, but have been struck down with this damn flu since I bought it! At least the battery is charged though!
