My lovely lady has lent me some money to get this with BG-E6 grip, plus an Epson R2880 and ColourMunki.

I'm absolutely chuffed. Monies should clear Friday and 5D etc. should be with me before Christmas. Awesome!!!! :D

KayKay, you needn't worry. If I could, I'd put some reins on the airline carrier to make it come here faster! :lol: Some sleepless nights coming up I reckon :D

Amazingly, Suzi is also offering to help with a Canon 16-35 f/2.8 L and Canon 85mm f1.2 :eek: Have a couple of projects in mind to get taking off the runway as Suzi's an entrepreneur herself :)

No time like the present :naughty::)

I'm very interested as it's a pro body in whether the 5D II is fully weatherproof like the 1D/S. Have tried looking it up but cannot get any firm conclusion.

Does anyone who has one know for sure through the manual etc.?

It is weather proof but Canon are not advertising it as such.
 
As far as I am aware it's only the 1D /1Ds series that have weather sealing.

The very latest reviews seem to agree with DG; apparently the Mk II is a lot better weatherproofed than the first gen 5D.
