Anybody using woocommerce?
Setting up a shop using it and need to make some fairly advanced product variations. I'll explain from the start as it's probably going to be a bit difficult to get around otherwise.
The great Western Railway numberedd it's locomotives with a cast plaque. Locomotives are built in classes, much like car models, and each class would get a series of numbers. Trouble is the constantly chopped and changed it's numbers, and as older classes were scrapped a series could be re used on another class. I sell miniature plaques.
What I want to do is group the plates together by class, so say we have a product for 'Collett Goods Class' locomotives, and that has as a variation the numbers 2200-2299 and 3200-3219. The numbers 3200 up were also used on 'Stella class' and 'Earl class' locos. So the problem I'm having is how do I set it so that when I sell a number from one class it automatically deducts stock from the other classes?
Is there a better way to set it up that I haven't considered?
