after my behaivure at the weekend i find it very difficult to laugh at bad driving as im in the same catagory if not worse

Explain!

i do far too many miles in my car every week, along fast A roads, thus ive started taking far too many risks overtaking and the like.

overtook a car and found myself head on with another car but managed to pull in and luckily damage was minimised by both parties to whacking wingmirrors, all completely my fault. and it could have been so much worse, has shook me up alot and slowed me down, im through with taking stuipid risks.

straight away i reported it to the police and left my details for the other person to get in contact with me, which he did, and its all been sorted out etc and ive footed the bill for the damage on both sides.

i guess its a good reminder to myself that you cant play on the edge for long without falling off and in some ways its been very useful for me as a person,we both escaped exceedingly lightly, i didnt cause the massive pile up that i could have caused which is the most important thing.

i guess its a good reminder that especially in these bright sunny days its very very easily to simply not see a dark coloured car in the dappled shadows of hedgerows

shame the silly cow who slapped the back end of my car wasnt so socially minded....

coming soon...www.s14***.co.uk

Have you considered IAM mate? I did it just over a year ago and it is shocking how bad a driver you are shown to be but also how good a driver you end up being.

If you drive a lot you will get so much out of it. It costs £85 all in including all lessons and tests, and takes about an hour every two weeks or so.

Really worth it in my opinion. The only drawback is that it makes you the worlds worst passenger! :)

I stuck my honda in a ditch doing pretty much the same thing. Fortunately the only damage was to my car! Also made me calm down considerably, can't do ANY overtaking in the micra now unless I have a half hour/3mile run up!
