Wokeness gone mad

OK, I think it's time I opened up and spoke honestly here... for many years now, I have 'identified' as a multi-millionaire. I have come to realise that me not being a multi-millionaire is giving me some mental health issues, so I'm thinking about launching a crowd funding project so I can achieve my ambition and my dream can be fulfilled.

So how are each of you fixed for a donation of around £1000 to start things off? I'd be ever so grateful. ;)

Ever concerned about other people's mental health, I'll start out with a donation of £10,000. Is that enough?

Seriously though folks......I'm surprised the word "dick" still refers to the male appendage. Slang usually evolves over time but maybe "dick" is a keeper.

Being a bloke, I am quite fortunate that I can stand up for a pee. Women of course sit down, which means that they need specific facilities, including bins for sanitary towels. Why is it so difficult to imagine that girls/women should have their own safe spaces, where boys/men are not welcome? The following article shows exactly why I think boys/men are a danger when they are allowed access to girls/women's facilities. What is particularly astonishing is that this male offender was then sent to a female only hostel.

What if it had been a lesbian sex offender? Would it be ok to send them to a female only hostel?

That is possibly one of the most misogynistic posts I have ever seen on this forum. Well done, you have certainly nailed your colours to the mast - you think that lesbians are men?

I've heard it all now. It involves The York Dungeon where visitors can sit in a mock 18th century carriage, in the dark and,I think, have 'Dick Turpin' relate some of his horror stories, no doubt in the parlance of the day. He was hung in York in 1739. Obviously, not for the faint-hearted. If anyone knows about this carriage ride maybe you could expand on that if there's more to it. It seems that 'some' parents have complained about Mr Turpin's first name. It is, infact,Richard but has been Dick down the ages. Fortunately, the management at The York Dungeons are standing firm and Dick it will remain. Give in to 'Dick' Turpin and who knows where it will go.
What utter lunacy. I suspect that these mentally negligible halfwits would be in apoplexy if they ever went to Penistone or Scunthorpe.

Didn't say that did I? Can't you read?

It's about housing a criminal with their potential victims, that's what the issue is isn't it?

What do you think?

I don't think that there's an ideal solution, but that the issue is surely the housing of a sex offender with their potential victims and the birth gender of the offender isn't directly related to the argument. I'd hope there would be appropriate monitoring and checks and balances in place when situations like this arise. But that if you have no problem with housing offenders and victims together *unless* the offender is trans, you might want to ask yourself why you've come to that judgement.

It is curious that the self-described anti-woke types have no problem with men that have sexually assaulted men being housed in male prisons, nor cis-women that have assaulted women being housed in women's prisons, but when it comes to trans women (never trans men) they suddenly have a lot to say offender management. Odd really, they do seem rather obsessed. I hope they're OK.

I won't start on the self-appointed toilet police, who I am convinced are mentally ill and a danger to society with the way they try to eject short-haired cis-women from toilets. It's almost like they have a standard of femininity that they want to enforce on all women in some Gilead-like society.

I don't think it needs to be complicated, irrespective of how a person identifies, they should always be incarcerated in the prison which matches their birth sex. Only a tiny percentage of females are sex offenders. I also think that in both male and female prisons, sex offenders should be isolated from other prisoners.
According to official MOJ figures, in 2019 there were 13359 people in prison convicted of sexual offences. 125 of these are recorded as female and another 76 are known to be males who identify as women. This means there are around 200 sex offenders in prison who either is a woman or self-identifies as woman.

It's a single unshared toilet on trains.

Whereas unisex toilets just have a load of toilets together in the open so you can wave at each other while dropping the kids off.

Whilst they are unshared, the smell from them often isn't, and you can sit inhaling someone else's pooh smells in comfort.

I guess this means spotted dick is off the menu - especially with all this monkeypox about.

Or Ballsall Common - Hasely Knob - Wyrepiddle - Piddletrenthide - Cockfosters. The list is almost endless. I think these people need to get out a bit more.

Not to mention [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER] (which was renamed last year.)

There should be a mention for FARThing Corner, s***terton, Butthole Lane, Assloss, Piddle Valley,
Here is a list:

There's a place disturbingly close to Brown Willy on Bodmin Moor that delights in the name of Cats Hole.

Let's not forget Peover in Cheshire... it's been the undoing of many an unfamiliar TV and radio broadcaster over the years! For the record, it's pronounced "Peever".

I've worked in offices that have only had gender neutral toilets, and god knows how some people manage to deal with toilets on trains or planes.
.... The potential problem is not the cubicle itself such as on a train or plane but the communal room which houses a collection of cubicles < That is where segregation is safer for all users when the genders are separated.

.... :agree: Whether it's prisons or toilets, a person's birth gender should primarily determine where they go instead of all the complications of who they think they identify with which satisfy no-one.

John Cleese has some wonderfully witty things to say about Wokeism.

One of my many favourite quotes from him is "There are people sat waiting for the thrill of being offended" < So true!

In a private, enclosed environment.

Nothing quite like completely missing the point.

Just a different approach to sharing. Not everyone can be as serious as you all the time.

I'm old enough to remember when all this type of silly season stupid story would be categorised as PC (Politically Correct) Same Sh** Different Day

Oh, you were trying to be funny? Right. Ok then.

Apologies for those that have no sense of humour.

A comment was made about sharing on train loos, and that they are single occupancy, single cubicles.

In explanation, certain 'modern' trains get the ventilation from the loos and tanks wrong and you get to smell the grim in carriages. So, sharing the loo experience does happen!

Now - back to the earnest YOU WRONG ME RIGHT stuff (y)

There are already a few jokes in this thread.
