Wite Perspex sheets

needs to be big sheets for me to put on the floor of the studio :-)
 
You could use 2mm, what sort of shoot is it?
 
just children, ok *** i will have a look at 2mm

As said 2mm clear acrylic is fine... I shoot LOTS of children in a day and no problems at all, cheaper too. It will get scratched but it takes a while for it to get bad enough to have to throw it away. Just don't ever use it on carpet unless you have covered the carpet with cheap click together laminate before you lay down the backdrop and acrylic... or you will crack it when they jump up and down on it (stops the backdrop from walking on the carpet too). Also, don't use cleaners like Detox on it or it will craze. To minimise scratches it's best to get them to take their shoes and socks off if you can :thumbs:

Oh and as for suppliers... the DIY sheds are cheap enough, but if you want an 8 x 4 ft sheet then there are many acrylic suppliers around the country and all about the same price tbh. DEP Fabrications for example are in Hitchen, but no idea for you in Wales sorry.
