Wireless router

Hi all,

looking for a router that will accept a wireless connection as its link to the internet upstream.

My phone can act as a wifi hotspot, and my contract allows unlimited tethering, so was wondering how i could connect the phone to a router so i can connect multiple devices / extend the range?

tplink does one, i think the model i have (WR843ND).

Neil - To allow multiple devices connection to internet through my mobile phone. I can easily connect a single device, but was looking for a device that would act is a middleman that would accept multiple connections downstream while connected upstream to my phone, which is itself connected upstream to the internet.

will your phone not allow more than 1 connection? i think the iphone can.

i think you need WISP functionality on whichever router/AP you choose. i am not overly sure if this can be used with a mobile device (if you download the manual for http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?model=TL-WR843ND you can read further).

it may just be easier to get a mifi.

Have just checked the Nexus 4 specs:-

You can also share your data connection with up to 10 devices at once, by turning it into a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.

Cheers Neil, i always assumed it was a single device connection. saves me a few quid....
