I have a Canon MP610 (I think!!) at home. Pretty decent printer and have loads of spare ink too, so loath to get rid. However, having converted my study to a kids playroom I could really do with a wireless printer (as only use laptop/ipad). So... can I get some kind of adapter to make this wireless??? Or, what printer would be recommended?? In an ideal world one that shares the same ink cartridge (unlikely i know), and needs to be small and relatively cheap - ideally around £50. I do all my photos with DSCL so dont need a photo printer, and dont print huge reams of docs - mainly just things like vouchers, booking forms and etickets and the odd thing like that.

A quick Google brings up:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-BU-20-Print-server-Bluetooth/dp/B000CQ73UW

Some reviewers have used the same printer as yourself and it works. However, the price - £49.99 is right on your budget plus seems a lot for what is a bluetooth dongle - there are others around - Google something like Canon wireless printer adapters. Depends on how much spare ink you have got - basic brand new wireless printers cost around that much but then you need to stock up with ink.

Selling it on here might get you some cash back? Or is it worth the bother. Somethings for you to think about .

Cheers, leaning towards getting a new printer, and selling the inks on here.

I have that printer, save yourself the bother and buy a bluetooth dongle and stick it in the usb!

Sorted :D

Ha, sorry just read Zoomboxers post.

Ive got the 620... not sure if it takes the same ink but its a very good printer and its wifi, but it does not support air print by apple devices.

I use a HP bt300 bluetooth dongle FWIW
