Hi,

I am kind of new to flash photography. I want to buy some radio controller to use my flash remotely for my portrait works. I have canon 430exII flash. I dont have budget to go with canon. I have checked the ebay and amazon. They are full of different models but I am not sure which one will work and which not.
One more question is ttl mode work wit these radio triggers? (sorry if its a silly question?)

You could try a set of RF-602s from the bay, but you will loose ETTL. If you want to keep ETTL you have either got to go for a OC-E3 type cable or a more expensive ST-02.

What camera have you got? I bought a sigma ef-530 super quite cheap and then upgrade my body to a 600d. With the in built IR transmitter i can trigger my flash wirelessly but still maintain the ttl.
 
The cheapest way to retain E-TTL off camera is with a cord. It's also reliable. You can get them up to 10m long.

Yongnuo RF-602 are the tried and tested budget radio triggers (Amazon) and they work very well - but all radio triggers are manual only, this side of £400.

Edit: you have a 7D? That has master controller functions built in to the pop-up, to fire your 430EX wirelessly with E-TTL.

Hi,
Yes I have Canon 7D. I have used the inbuilt wireless function but it has some limitations, it have to be in line of sight with the camera. its alright inside a studio but outside it works funny. Thats why I am looking for another cheaper option.
 
I'd pay the extra (£10) over RF-602's for Pixel Soldier 371's. Ability to group flashes, higher trigger voltage, faster sync speed.
