Hi.
I'm looking to purchase a wifi tablet. The majority of my workflow is Apple but this doesn't have to be the deciding factor.
I wish to use the tablet away from home to examine and collate the keepers from an SD card then delete the trash, while they remain on the SD card, then I can transfer the keepers from my SD card to my back up drive.
Question is, can I do this on a tablet (preferable a n iPad) without having to reserve 16gb on the tablet for the size of my sd card, just to examine them before they go on my back up drive. Obviously I'd use wifi if the facility was available in the area I am in, if not then wired would be my alternative. But that's not the main query, main one is....
.... can I delete from my SD card via my tablet after examination?

Thanks
Paul

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. There is an app called Android Photo Backup that does incremental backups and previews.

Internally tablet has 16gb, it can take a microSD which I keep a 32gb card in there and also you can get an adapter to plugin a SD card externally. I think it's great, I use about half of the microSD card to backup photos as I travel...
