Yes
A bit left field, but I'm going to Majorca in a week and I'm looking to get some light painting and wire wool spinning.

Now, can I take wire wool on to an airplane, in my hold luggage??

Cheers.

Also....just thinking they probably sell wire wool in Majorca ;)

ring the airline and ask. if they say yes ask them to email you the answer. I always ring em to ask stuff like this, and often get other flying tips from them too :)

Probably but make sure you know what the Spanish for "Wire wool" is, ideally in the local idiom rather than a direct translation! Unless you know of a Ballearic (?sp?) equivalent to B&Q.

It could actually be seen as a high risk item, maybe depending how it's packed, because you can quite easily set it alight with a battery.

Easiest international language....find what you need and point at it!

Bricomart. They're everywhere (well in the south at least).

Edit> Bricomart is NOT spanish for Wire Wool by the way, in the same way that B&Q is not English for Wire Wool!
