Winzip and 7d firmware

Please can someone help i'm not techy in the slightest apart from logging on etc, i want to do the Firmware upgrade on my 7D, i've downloaded it from canon, buts its come through as a zipped file, and my free trial has expired, is there anyway round this, i really don't want to have to pay for Winzip
