Can anybody please forward advice on which winter gloves are best to use and where to get them from for out door shooting with my camera during the winter please?
I got a pair of Thinsulate gloves in George @ Asda for around £6. Very warm but thin enough to be able to operate my camera and a slight suede effect so the grip's reasonable too
Did consider some of those that let you use an iPhone as I tweet score updates too but find fingerless ones during the game then some proper thick ski ones on top for before, HT and after do the trick
I bought some barbour shooting gloves so I can get my index finger and thumb out easily. They're warm enough...the only problem is when I have my index finger coming out of the hole, the glove cuts into my finger and cuts off the blood supply...so I lose all feeling in it anyway. I'm hoping the material slackens a bit over time though!
Last time I was in Aldi, they still had the fishing gloves on sale.
Cannot remember how much they were, but they were cheap!
Use fingerless ones myself!
I got some neoprene fingerless ones (Kelly recommended them). And then over them some bright red thick knitted long 'warmers' from Tesco last winter's sale (£2.00) bargain! I hope the red will attract the players towards me when they score ....
I got a pair of North Face E-Tip gloves couple of days ago. Not just for photography, but diddling with the tinternet on my phone when out in the cold.
