As I remember XP software was sat on top of DOS where as Vista is it own operating system

That's a quote from the BBC news website 3 days ago. Macs are OK, but they only have a niche market in reality. And it's patently obvious that they're not immune from problems, to suggest otherwise is just plain silly.

Not that I'm suggesting that PC's are any better or worse either. There have been some pretty dismal windows versions in the past. But let's keep a sense of reality...

i only sign up as my friend was nagging me to join so i did and well... i have a account so i might as well help my fellow forum users by informing the awesomeness of macs
 
we do all know that pc were made for offices and not home computers and mac were right for the start. PC stands for personal computer and mac are way more customizable, so proving mac are better then pcs

funny that, because I have been using windows for years and never lost any data....hmmmm.....But still, lets keep it to intelligent discussion shall we.

Eh, so by your logic a PC is for home use then? Otherwise it would be called a BC...;)

Oh and where did you get the idea macs aren't PC's? Since about 3 years ago Apple have been using identical hardware to most other PC's on the market, the only difference between a machine running windows and a machine running OSX is the operating system. It's the reason you can run windows on a mac and OSX on a windows PC.;)
