windows thumbnails

I don't know if it is possible or I'm being a bit daft!
But is there a way to make windows open every folder with thumbnails? rather than the filmstrip option.

Open a folder, set it to thumbs and then in the window open View > Folder Options. There's an option in there to apply the current settings to all folders.

Are you using Vista ? If so it's under Tools > Folder Options.

Aaaah ha I've sussed it I tink!!
I'm not sure how, but they all open in thumbnails now!

(I did have the thumbnails ticked, but they all reverted back on reboot.)
