Which OS do you use and have you switched?

I'm talking about your primary computer, at home mostly (unless you choose which system you want at work!).

No posting please, just vote on the poll (I don't want the trigger happy thread closer exercising his itchy finger again! :suspect:)

I'm talking about your primary OS. The one you would choose if you could only use one. If you use Windiws 95% of the time out of choice then I guess you prefer Windows otherwise you would use the Mac 95% of the time and Windows 5% for support. I have to use Windows 50% of my time for work but that's not my choice. I class you as a 'Windows never switched' vote.
 
The most interesting thing about this so far is that there have been 135 views and only 16 votes! :shrug:

No offence but I specifically don't want people posting their opinions in this thread..... that's how they get closed! :rules:;)

If linux is your primary OS by choice then I guess there's no point in you voting.
 
Before I retired we used mac for graphics and PC's for Admin.

Since I retired I have used PC's for both.
There is little difference the way photoshop works on either now.
I certainly would not change, as I would have software problems. Some of the programs I use are not available in Mac.
The cost of changing is much more software driven than hardware.

I have not voted as you do not offer this option.
 
Was just going to point out, there is no option for tried mac/windows but decided to stay on the original platform. It's not the same as the switched back option in the poll.:)
 
Just goes to show, people ignore instructions and post anyway. If the poll doesn't fit your scenario, don't vote and move on. STOP POSTING PEOPLE!!!!

I use Windows. Tried Mac OS but didnt like it, just stick to what I know, plus I like to change hardware due to gaming.
 
I use Apple at home and now work but Support windows at work as well as apple occasionally

Use Virtual PC with Windows for anything PC related I may need to do during the day (which is quite limited
 
I went to mac from XP then back to vista but will happily use a mac or PC!
 
I had a Big Mac at 4am this morning with fries and they have stopped putting salt on them. Ruined the whole experience.

I switched from Windows to Linux then finally on to Mac. I still use windows and linux but 90% is mac.

Damn was that a post? Oh no! How could I? Now I've gone and done it...
 
Windows all the way here, simply because I refuse to spend £700 on a laptop and I game on my desktop so the iMac's are useless to me.

I find it a bit strange that anyone might be 'incited' to do anything because I mentioned my experiences and opinions of an OS...but then, this is the internet! :P

Extra salt is not needed in your diet, fries are unhealthy enough before you go and cover them in salt. Macky d is trying to help you.

I did not have that problem last week. Maybe they are just doing that to YOUR fries? I think you should write to them :)
