Does anyone know of a cheapish way of getting a Windows 10 key?

Going to dual boot my Macbook pro.

It's eBay safe enough?

most folk get it free with a pc or laptop.

remember you dont need a key to install and run windows 10 at all.
after 30 days it will just start bugging you.

you can buy on ebay and they usually work.

wouldnt touch ebay with a bargepole.

cheap keys normally equal pirated copies.

As above, if you do want to try your luck on eBay buy a copy that comes in a retail box from a seller who doesn't have lots of them for sale. "Key-only" listings are almost guaranteed to be unofficial/pirate copies that will give you problems at some point.

Personally I would just buy the official license; £80 for the Home edition on Amazon is a fairly reasonable price IMO.

Yes I did buy win 10, I had a new PC built and while I could have gone the upgrade from Win 7,after much thought I opted to buy win10 on a disc as in the overall scheme of things the additional cost was not a lot and I have a legit copy on a disc
