Windows Finally Gets RAW Image Support In Photo Gallery and Explorer

OMG, by the light of day it works.
Took them long enough. Lol.

Thanks for the heads up, a really helpful download this. Only thing is it gives you the option for the x84 and x64 and i have no idea what one i needed. I just downloaded the x84 and seems to work.

The x64 one is a bit misleading i think as it says amd64 but I downloaded that one and it installed fine.

I'm running Win 7 x64
 
Ive had window open for an hour now and no thumb nails :(
ah well still good to see there on their way.

Im running the same as you, but remember seeing a *something or other*(x84) folder in my system files so downloaded that one.

the x84 seems to work fine on windows7 64bit aswell.
 
lots of errors whilst installing about permissions etc

seems to have worked tho :)

it works - thumbnails and all too! but it doesnt support all cameras.

d90/d700 nef files work in photoviewer all thumbnail come up (albeit quite slowly).

d7000 nef files thumbnails come up quick but won't open in photoviewer. so it seems newer cameras arent supported.
