I was wondering if we should have a Windows 8 app thread.
I use the following apps
PC Monitor - monitoring and controlling servers and other PCs
Netflix - no explanation needed
Days to Xmas - 37 days!!!
Pulse (shortcut to webpage in IE10)
Facbook (shortcut to webpage in IE10)
TeamViewer Touch - use teamviewer for PC support
Engadget - Tech News
Top Gear - Motoring news
National Rail - train times for local stations. Sadly does not do route planning yet.
Clock Tile - why oh why is there no clock in the Metro UI??
The best app I have come across is my instant favourite....
rtRemote - iTunes remote (like you get in iOS or android, so I can control a local iTunes installation in the new UI or iTunes on another PC
http://apps.microsoft.com/webpdp/en-in/app/rtremote/a251f878-b182-4b53-a60c-c82d2b5a02a2
Any other apps people use?
