Windows 7

I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem with software for something as recent as a 7D. Do you get an error message when you try to run the install?

Do you have the latest version from Canons web site? (I've never installed DPP so don't know much about it)

You can right click the file (properties) and choose compatibility mode for XP. Something to try anyway.

Thank you ,it worked as your 1st answer,hope that makes sense
 
i would of persumed it should run on the same software / drivers because xp and windows 7 run around the same structure ie software that run on xp could be weasily run on windows 7 but anythign on xp had to be patched to work with vista so i would persume it would be the same not always though
