Yes
Have just changed over to windows 7 , I notice the below.

Via My computer - local drive, I see I have two program files, 1 Program files the other Program files (x86). Is this normal.

Yes. You have a 64 bit system. The 64 bit programs are in Program files, whilst the 32 bit programs are in Program files 86.

I doubt it. I use CS2 on Windows7 64 bit, and have no issues.
32 bit apps use a process called wow64 to run on 64 bit O/S's so should be fine, but you could try running in xp compatibility mode (right click on the app and it's in one of the property tabs).

Tim, can you tell me more on the above, is this something I should perform ?.
Thanks

Hi, Sorry for the tardy response, not been at the computer for a few days.
I don't know if compatibility mode will fix the problem, but it's probably worth a try.

To run an app in compatibility mode:
1. Right click on the Icon that launches the app.
2. Select Properties from the Menu
3. Select the Compatibility Tab
4. Tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode" tick box
5. Select the mode you wish from the drop down menu (if it worked under XP, try XP SP3. There are other options)
6. Press the [Apply] button.
7. Run the app and see if this fixes the issue

Thanks kindly Tim.
I have since resolved the problem, however it might well be helpful if other issues arises.
regards Tony
