I read somewhere, I think in a magazine, or something that it seems Microsoft decided not to call it Windows 9, and want to call it Windows One, but there was already Windows 1.0, so they thought to call it Windows 10. Sounds like some kind of computer operating system's answer to Hollywood's rebooting movies and television shows.
