Yes
I have just updated to windows 10 and now my screen looks like something I had in the mid 90's.

The monitor is a Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA.

Windows says I have the latest driver installed. I have also downloaded the driver and installed it manually, yet still I don't have a suitable list of resolution setting to choose from.

Any ideas?

Hmmm, I hadnt thought of that. Is there any way of finding out what graphics card I have without opening it up?

Its a custom built machine, but at 6+ years old I have forgotten what I put in it.

That's my device list, I can't tell which is the graphics card.

I found a windows 10 utility which came back with this,

It looks like they no longer support it. Their driver detect tool cant find a suitable driver and searching for atombias on their website brings no results.

Turns out my card isn't supported past windows 7. Windows 8 and 10 are a non-starter so have reverted back to windows 7.

Windows 10 looked like it was going to be a headache to get used to anyway.
